Tambe Electric Incorporated, a Victor, NY based electrical contractor ranked third on the recent Rochester Business Journal list of electrical contractors. Tambe started in 1973 as a small family-based residential contractor and has grown to become Rochester's largest merit-based electrical contractor with a continued focus on family. Today more than 150 people are employed in the Commercial, Residential, Communication, Industrial and 24/7 Service divisions.

Originally running the operation from his home in Webster, NY, Mike Tambe took the reins from his father Angelo Tambe in the early 1980s. Since then Mike has grown the company and relocated its headquarters to a facility in Victor, NY.

Tambe has built its trusted reputation through years of experience in working with general contractors, developers, architects, engineers and industry leaders. This progressive team management approach has served our customers well and has contributed to our growth.

Over the past 10 years, Tambe has more than doubled its workforce. Growth has been strongest in the Communications and Industrial divisions and we are striving to continue this trend.

Tambe serves a number of geographic markets including Rochester, Buffalo, Syracuse, and Pittsburgh PA.

Much of the company's success - including its extremely high customer retention rate - can be attributed to its highly-responsive customer service. Satisfying customer needs is a defining characteristic of the company’s identity, and motivates every aspect of the operation. All employees are given the resources and responsibility to do whatever it takes to achieve customer satisfaction, and client feedback plays an integral role in charting the company's innovation roadmap now and into the future.

I’d like to take this opportunity to recognize your team for an outstanding job on this Target project. Although each subcontractor is important , the electricians are key. It was a pleasure working with your crew as they were always willing to help others and looked out for the best interests of the project, just what Target expects. Hopefully our paths will cross again.
